Class of 1978

Dear Reunion Committee:

I applaud all your hard work and the huge difference you have made. A few of us gathered at PHHS to see the changes wrought over the last year. The school truly looks like it's ready to be a beacon again (can't say I had this feeling at the 20th when I stopped by).

Great gig, by the way. Nice job. The night was a huge success. Seeing alumni like Bob Taylor and Phil Galloway actually attending had having a good time was testament enough.

Aloha nui loa,
Rob Rothrock

Great job on the reunion.

Tom Lazos

Thanks to the Reunion Team for a really wonderful event. There is no doubt in my mind there was a tremendous amount of effort that went into just selecting the venue (great choice), much less all the logistics, classmate locating activity, food prep, invitations and general organizing. All of that probably pales in comparison with the stress associated with a desire to get it right and to create a memorable event that will only take place once in a person’s lifetime and will impact attendance at the next event. I, for one, believe the team was very successful!

I have planned a number of work oriented and social events. Nothing on the scale of a high school reunion with a graduating class of 1,200+! What I have found with these things is that you really get focused on doing it right, you give it your best and frequently when the event finally happens it passes so quickly that you almost miss the damn thing!

It was great seeing the PHHS gang last weekend. In the meantime, have a great 10 years; I can hardly way for the 40th reunion!

Andy Radlow

Good to see you again and thanks for all the work the team did to put this all together. It was a wonderful evening, full of laughter and memories, and it was so good to see so many people.

Bob Taylor

What a great event you pulled off. I know you won’t take much credit for it but my dad spent some of his career pulling off what you did Saturday night and I know without your leadership and drive it would not have happened like it did.

I had a great time and so did everyone else that I spoke with. It felt like everyone was healthy and happy and looking good, too. Thank you again and please keep in touch!!

You did  a greeeeeeeeat job on the reunion!!!!! We had a wonderful time and it was because of all your work. Thank you again it wouldn't have been posible if not for you.

Deanna

I just wanted to thank you for all of the hard work you put in to make last night such a success! I have put together events like this and I know how much planning (and stress) is involved! I'm glad that I decided to go and it was a very fun evening!

Thanks again!
Sharon Friedman

Wow, what a great event! I hope you're happy with how everything turned out. You sure put your heart and soul into it. Do you ever ask yourself why can't I just show up and have a good time? I know I do, or, more accurately put, Bryan does. Well thank God for people like you, who really serve others in a special way. Thank you again.

See ya soon,
Margie Cooper

Thank you for holding a great PHHS '78 class reunion. Had a good time. The band was good. I did not know anyone there but just being around my old school mates was good enough for me. I had the June 9, 1978 PHHS special senior edition newspaper with me and shared it with the others. It was great to see the surprise looks on their faces when they saw themselves. Thanks again and good job!

People don't say Thank You often enough when someone goes "above and beyond" to make something important happen. So I wanted to make sure to say Thank You properly for the leadership and work you obviously put into the reunion. It was a remarkable evening for me and for all that I got to talk to. But these kinds of evenings don't happen unless someone is willing to lead it ... so once again, THANKS.

When the planning starts for whatever the next event is, I will be willing to serve on a committee to help if needed. Let me know.

Sincerely,
Steve Willmont
